Ok so the volcano was way intense! There was lava
flowing through the streets and cars melting and so
much black smoke in the air that we couldnt see a
thing for two whole days! Ok just kidding... I
actually didnt know anything about any volcano
going off until i read it in your email, however
we did feel a pretty decent sized earthquake on
sunday morning. (we didnt have our helmets on,
but fortunately no one got hurt...haha)

with the helmets.
(this is from a letter a few weeks ago.)
So as you know chase choro in our apartment is a
bean, and so of course we have the very important
duty to play a prank on him as his room mates
right? So last week we told him that we got a
call from the Zone Leaders saying there was an
Earthquake warning for the night and president
wants everyone to `earth-quake proof` their
apartments and then wear their bike helmets to
bed for safety. Haha he got WAY into it and ended
up sleeping all the way until morning with his
helmet on. Of course as soon as he fell asleep
we took ours off and took pictures. The best part
was right before we went to bed elder fryer tried
to take his off and Elder Chase got all serious
and was like `Elder fryer... Your not above the
rules!` Haha we had a hard time keeping a straight
face at that point. It was pretty hidoi of us but
it was hilarious and he was a good sport and had a
good laugh at it the next day when we told him
the truth. haha
