This is the Otani Ramen Shop in Takau. Their daughter, Miki, was one of the girls who stayed at our house a few months ago. They fed us like we were royalty! Camron said that the things they kept bringing out weren't even things on their menu, they were special for us!

The pretty little orange bunches on the top of this are fish eggs. I tried them. They kind of pop in your mouth and are a bit salty. I got brave and tried a piece of the raw salmon in this dish. Not my idea of good food, but Cam, Tom and Tyler all enjoyed it!
