What do you think sounds like fun on a pouring rain and very windy Saturday morning in October? This crazy group of people from our area ran the St. George Marathon! Twenty six point two very soggy and windy miles were ran by each one of these self proclaimed crazys! 32 years of St. George Marathon with only 2 of them having any rain.....this would be one of the two!
I'll bet you'll see each one in this picture doing it again! Yes, we have all been called crazy, and yes, we even agree! But it is a very fun and rewarding kind of crazy!
Tom and I had a great journey as we prepared for this marathon and a great adventure the day of the marathon! We can't help but compare it to life and all of the ups and downs that we face along the way and enduring to the end! To make it to the finish line and be there for each other was very profound to us! Not many couples have the opportunity to run a marathon together. It was definitely something we will remember.
